Plain-language summary. Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Using verification
CFA tells you whether a code is consistent with a brand’s records, as one of three confidence bands (green / amber / red). It is an assistance signal, not a legal guarantee of authenticity. For high-value items, confirm directly with the brand.
If you’re a brand
You’re responsible for the accuracy of the product information you register and for only generating codes for goods you’re entitled to sell. Don’t use CFA to mislead, and keep your account credentials secure. Your data is yours; you can request its removal.
Reporting a counterfeit
If a result looks wrong, or you’ve found a fake, tell us at support@cpfcambodia.org. CFA flags suspicion and surfaces evidence (scan history, anomalies) — it does not itself adjudicate or accuse; the brand and authorities decide what follows.
Acceptable use
Don’t abuse the service: no automated scraping of the verification endpoints, no attempts to forge codes or probe other brands’ data, no reselling access. We may rate-limit or suspend abuse.
Availability & liability
The service is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate and available but can’t guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, CFA isn’t liable for losses arising from reliance on a verification result alone.
Changes & governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here. These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
